I would like to propose my candidacy for a position of English teacher. I am a highly dynamic, results oriented and solution focused teacher, Head of department and lead professional offering Twenty-four years of experience in education with a proven record of achievements. I am firmly convinced that my natural ability, intellectual background, work experience and qualifications all combined make me suitably qualified for your specific requirements.
I am highly qualified in education and teaching English, I have a master’s degree of Arts in Education, Teaching English as a foreign Language TEFL. PDGE, post grade diploma in education in developing and planning curricula. A bachelor degree in arts and education majored in English literature and teaching methodologies. I have TEFL from Georgia State University, and Cambridge CELTA 5 and ICDL. I successfully passed TOEFL IBT twice with band score 106 and 107 in 2016 and 2018 respectively and IELTS with band score 7 and 7.5 in 2012 and 2018 and I am certified Cambridge ESOL test examiner (PET). I certified trainer of trainers Saudi Aramco and TVTC, Saudi Arabia.
Throughout my teaching career, I have gained intensive skills in training and management, alongside working directly with students of wide range ages. I worked as a senior English teacher and acting vice principal in Saudi Aramco apprenticeship program. I joined Wintec KSA to share the responsibility to operate the program of International Technical Colleges, Colleges of Excellence where I worked as head of foundation, teaching and learning lead and PET examiner and test center administrator. In addition, I was a lead professional in International Baccalaureate and Gifted Students Program, Mawhiba. I have been a head of English department and academic supervisor in different International Academies and Universities.
In my teaching practice, I attach significant importance to modifying the monotonous conventional English teaching strategies, as I believe that knowledge is grasped best when it is presented in a supportive and encouraging environment. I also recognize the importance of developing the students’ interpersonal and social skills as well as the academic development. I have gained insight into teaching and helping young people including those with learning difficulties and behavior management issues. I have been able to motivate and inspire students with concentration difficulties as well as give practical advice.
