Voice and piano teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience
Born officially trained in music since the age of four. BA degree in music (major in voice performance and minor in piano) from one of Taiwan's top-notch universities especially in the field of music (Taipei Municipal University of Education)
I have started to give music lessons to both private and group students since 18 years old. My students are aged from 3 to 65.
During my whole life I have performed for over hundreds of times in Taiwan and in Canada, including in piano concerts, musical theatres, vocal recitals, operas chamber ensembles and so forth. Also I gained numerous music awards in Taiwan including piano and voice performance competitions.
◆Voice lessons◆
My teaching methods combine what I learnt from Italian bel canto, Vienna vocal techniques, Broadway singing skills, jazz soul styles and pop, depending on students' need. I teach with imagination, anatomy, and body moves and gestures depending on each student's need and what helps most to achieve the goal as well as successfully exploit the technique required at the moment.
◆Piano lessons◆
From both techniques and artistic aspects, genuinely help students to cultivate the essential abilities to read music by themselves, as well as enjoying them selves when growing their interpretations when playing music on the piano.
