Hindi native with a bachelors degree and 3 years teaching experience.
I am currently a Landscape Architecture student at the University of British Columbia with an undergraduate degree in Architecture. Being academically accomplished, I have an experience teaching my fellow classmates.
I have almost 5 years experience teaching my classmates, 3 years formal tutoring experience and 4 months experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
I approach a subject with flexibility. Depending upon your requirement (academic learning, hobby), my methodology varies. However, I do believe in clearing basics before moving on to more complex learning. Basically, to teach a non-native speakers, I would start by teaching very basic alphabets in Hindi to gradually levelling up. Next, I usually like to give short homeworks for your practice. To conclude, you take a short 30mins test to check your progress.
During the summer I have a mostly flexible schedule.
Anjani is a very patient and organized Hindi teacher. She is friendly and approachable and creates a comfortable atmosphere for learning even when I kept messing up the intonations and pronunciations. Teaching a language online is not easy, but Anjani has made it as smooth as possible and fun to learn!
