I got a master's degree in Korean language education as a foreign language at the Graduate School of Education, and I am studying a Ph.D. in Korean Studies. I received a certificate of teaching Korean from the Minister of Culture and Sports in 2016.
I started teaching Korean as a volunteer to foreigners living in Korea since 2013, and after receiving my master's degree, I taught Korean to foreign students of various nationalities at Yonsei University's language institution. I have experience in teaching Korean from beginner to advanced, and I have taught not only Korean but also Korean songs, Korean food, and traditional culture. Currently, I am teaching Korean to Korean immigrants in Canada.
To explain basic grammar, I use textbooks and various learning materials such as PPT and video materials. The study materials are properly organized according to the student's Korean level and the area of interest.
I am flexible and can easily adapt to student’s schedule
Students who want to have face-to-face classes can discuss the location and time. I can flexibly organize face-to-face and non-face classes according to students' needs.
