My teaching approach will be focus on the four main skills of learning a language: listening, speaking, reading and writing. I will use fun activities to practice and reinforce listening, speaking and reading exercises.
Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm. Flexible on weekends.

Ximena has been a wonderful teacher for our family. She makes sure we understand as we move along in lessons. She’s very flexible with the teaching schedule and understanding when life gets in the way and we have to reschedule. We have learned so much in the past few months and are grateful for her help.

I had a large Spanish vocabulary and terrible grammar, and from our very first conversation Ximena was able to pin-point exactly what my needs were, focused on the areas that would most benefit me, and has helped me grow my language skills from there. She has been incredibly patient with my challenge of dropping bad habits and been very encouraging when I get frustrated with myself. Ximena provides structured lessons, varied study activities, timely reviews, and interesting homework without any pressure. She is a highly skilled tutor and is exceptionally intuitive. Always positive, energetic, and fun, I truly look forward to my lessons with Ximena because, not only am I learning, I also feel like I'm visiting with a friend.
Ximena is a wonderful tutor: professional, intelligent and easy-going. My daughter (a beginner in Spanish) enjoyed the Spanish lesson. Highly recommended!
