I am a native English and Afrikaans speaker from Cape Town, South Africa.
I obtained a Tefl/Tesol certificate of 120 hours and have a degree in Social Work , in english at the University of the Western Cape.
I have 16 years of social work experience, which afforded me the opportunity to train, facilitate and implement prevention, programms to primary schools, high schools and special needs schools on social, emotional barriers to learning. I worked for the Western Cape Education Department as a school social worker March 2008-December 2019
My approached would be firstly to know my students such as their age and their needs. Preparation is key, keeping it simple for students to understand, practice, show them, positive reinforcement and having fun.
I am available from Mondays to Fridays. Saturday and Sundays
