Phase 1: ENGAGE (attention grabbing) - create student's interest and desire to participate. Phase 2: STUDY (passive skills) - learn the actual material and lesson point ( new grammar, vocabulary). Learning material include video, textbooks, etc. Phase 3: ACTIVATE (active skills) - practice the material learned by producing (speaking or writing) it through role plays, games, writing tasks.
