Coached several expats in conversational Hindi and am often consulted by newsrooms in North America on the use of Hindi language/ culture on reportage related to South asian community.
My teaching experience started seven years ago when I hosted an expat from Europe. India is a vast country and navigating streets and communicating with locals can be extremely challenging. To make it easy for my guest, I took it upon myself to acquaint them with the Hindi language. Seeing my teaching skills make a difference, I expanded it to other expats through my local network.
To help ease the language barrier, I begin with some easy to use day-to-day phrases, followed by formal introduction to Hindi alphabets to help read the local signs and speak sentences. I use a mixed method of audio-visual and written resources to help understand and speak using pronouncers. I am an extremely patient tutor and adjust my teaching methodology based on the expectation of the student.
Available in the evening during weekdays and daytime availability on weekends
I prefer giving tutorials virtually, but if there is a need, I hold my lessons at Sbx or any nearby park
