I am motivated and ambitious, and would like my students to share in my enthusiasm and passion for the English language. I believe in strong communication between a teacher and learner. I will ensure and encourage the learner express their ideas verbally and through written English. I am dedicated to teaching English and I will do so professionally and with patience and respect. I will be highly involved and concerned with the performance of my students. I endeavour to keep track of the performance of each learner and identify with learner who is lagging behind. I will be there to assist this learner to guide them and get to improve their performance in class. I am confident I will be a great remote English teacher for your company .
I have 120 hour online TEFL certification. I have a Higher Diploma in Education majored in English. I am currently registered to do my Post Graduate Diploma in Education. It is a 1 year part time Honors programme. I have past experience teaching Grade 2 learners and past experience lecturing and facilitating 1st Year University Students.
I have worked most of my adult career in the Hospitality Industry, particularly Event Management. I have studied M-Tech Tourism and Hospitality Management, and have completed my core subjects successfully. I am passionate about Education and wish to go back into teaching.
When teaching I will be energetic, positive, playful and enthusiastic. My goal will always be to foster a fun and safe working environment for the student and to allow the student to really explore the English language with me. I am aware of online ESL teaching techniques such as TPR, facial expressions and props and am able to incorporate these into my lessons. I have an internet speed of 10mbs upload and download, as well as an external webcam and a professional headset. I am highly dedicated and committed to teaching and being professional, and patient at all times.
