Conduent Learning Services-Webcast Coordinator Tallahassee, Florida, USA (remote) September 2016-October 2018 Manage a webcast calendar between 12 producers and our client, Ernst and Young. All work is accomplished remotely. Using 3 different technology platforms to process webcast requests and needs for CPE awarding webcasts and virtual instructor led training. Client facing for over 600 clients to facilitate approval processes and technology needs while balancing the timeline for producers to have enough time to set up webcasts. Decision making for production processes advancing while keeping the client and producer in mind. Reporting functions for invoices, forecasting workloads and strategizing for company decisions. Xerox Learning Services/LearnSomething Media Coordinator Tallahassee, Florida, USA September 2014-September 2016 Oversee a creative services staff that produces online courses for Pharma, Retail and Associations. Maintaining accuracy, quality and timeliness are essential for our work. Coordinate assets with Project Managers with confidential content regarding Pharma, electronically and in-house. Work with outside vendors in getting pricing and moving materials for completion by deadline. Marketing collateral includes: Pharma, Retail and Associations PowerPoints for conferences and sales presentations including the Xerox UK Sales Team for GSK, Astra Zeneca, Eli Lilly and Novartis. Marketing duties include design, functionality and brand standards for print and web applying Microsoft Office products, Adobe products and third party programs. Tallahassee Democrat Tallahassee, Florida, USA August 1984-September 2014 My career at the Tallahassee Democrat spanned a number of professional positions. It began with Graphic Artist in 1984. From 1990 to 2014, I held various management positions in the areas of Marketing, Commercial Print, Creative Services, Advertising Operations and Special Section Publications. Duties in these positions included: As a manager, I supervised Graphic Artists, Sales Representatives, Marketing Assistants, Special Products Editors, a Photographer, Ad Traffickers, a Proofrunner and Page Configuration. Managing these positions included hiring, training, evaluations and terminations. In addition, my responsibilities included: budgeting and revenue goals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of every display ad appearing in the newspaper, setting deadlines for more than 50 publications per year and maintaining communications through the departments involved. I also negotiated trade agreements and revenue contracts and participated in key technology decisions. In a creative capacity, I designed advertisements for marketing, sales collateral, special sections, and magazines. I continued as the champion for these products in creating sales kickoffs and themes to rally momentum for achieving company revenue goals. My design work has always been key in every position I have held. In the area of publication production; worked with all phases of the Tallahassee Democrat production process — both mechanical and digital. This also included quoting on commercial print jobs for the Tallahassee Democrat and working with outside vendors.
Teaching Approach
I specialize in English business conversations on an international level. I assign 2 news stories in advance of our class for reading. I ask the client to highlight any words or phrases that are unknown to them and/or need further explanation. I work with the client for meaning and pronunciation. Also, part of our time is spent discussing events in their lives. I also add a few slang terms to our one hour session.
