My name is Shervin and I am a bilingual English and Farsi speaker. While I grew up in the U.S., I have also lived in Iran for 6 years where I used to teach English to Iranians.

I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. However I worked for 4 years as a tutor.

I used to teach English in Iran to Iranians, and have been tutoring and teaching overall for roughly 4 years.
Teaching Approach
After going through the basics, I like to incorporate a lot of day to day, fun tools for teaching a language. For example, if I want to teach vocabulary concerning furniture, I would use some parts of TV shows that concern furniture shopping. I love to use music lyrics as well. It is more engaging and fun for the student, and far more memorable than looking at a chart in a book.
