I am a trained English teacher with experience in developing the action plan for Georgian public schools based on various subject teaching needs. I am skilled in Online teaching, administrating the WIDA MODEL (Measure of Developing the English Language) is a suite of English language proficiency assessments for Kindergarten through Grade 12, Non-formal Education, English language learning (ELL).
I am a strong education professional with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, certified in the TEFL, TESOL, a Master's degree focused on e-Learning and e-Governance Technologies from Tallinn University of Technology. Additionally, I am a Ph.D. student at the University of San Diego.
I have three years of experience in the project ‘’Teach for Georgia’’ as a consultant English teacher. I participated in the International Visitor Leadership Programme ‘’Teacher Professional Development in the U.S.’’ That said, I Prepare and impart English language lessons for English Language Learners (ELLs) online and on-campus using modern methods to attain the lesson objectives in the International School. I use information communication technologies (ICT) on a daily basis in the classroom and I provide opportunities for rapid feedback and reflection to students and teachers. Moreover, I managed international summer language camps within activities on multicultural issues for teens based on non-formal learning methods. Above all, I possess leadership skills, good organizational abilities, enthusiasm, and commitment to my work and responsibilities.
I use the Jolly Phonics program for little children and as for teens and adults I use audio-visual, the structural, communicative language, the direct, and immersion approaches. But it all depends on students and their needs.
