Part-time Tutor (Math, Korean, and Computer Skills), 2-3 years. I have a diverse range of teaching experience, having taught elementary students, high school students, university students, and adults in subjects such as Math, Korean language, and Computer Skills. This has provided me with valuable skills in lesson planning, student assessment, and adapting my teaching style to suit different age groups and learning needs.
My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on individual needs and learning styles. In particular, when teaching Korean, I emphasize immersive learning techniques. While I use a textbook as a guide, I also incorporate real-life materials such as songs, news articles, and videos to make lessons engaging and contextually relevant. By doing so, I aim to foster a deep understanding of the language and culture rather than relying solely on rote memorization of vocabulary or grammar rules.
I am primarily available on Saturdays. However, for weekdays and Sundays, I am open to discussion in order to accommodate the most convenient time for each student.

Daniel is a very supportive, patient and knowledgeable teacher. During our lessons, we do listening, speaking and writing practices and he teaches me some interesting Korean slangs as well. He brings in videos and supplements lessons so you learn practical applications. He is such a genuinely good person and I enjoy my lessons with him so much. I highly recommend Daniel for anyone looking for a great language teacher!!! I am excited to keep working with him to see how much more I will progress! :)
If you're in the market for a patient and dedicated Korean tutor, Daniel is your guy. He totally gets that everyone learns at their own pace, and his teaching style is all about tailoring it to your needs. Personally, I've seen some major improvements in my Korean skills since I started learning with him.
I know a few Korean expressions and was nervous on the first lesson day but Daniel made me feel so comfortable. He corrected me in a way that didn’t make me feel embarrassed. He's very patient, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I'm looking forward to studying with him. I highly recommend him as a Korean tutor!
