I have gained valuable experience teaching English as a second language in different settings: 1-on-1 private tutoring, Zoom/Meet lessons, and high school classrooms. As a 4-year experienced tutor, I have assisted students from 5 to 27 years old with school assignments, refined specific skills such as grammar and speaking, and reviewed English school material, among other tasks. My strong communication and leadership skills, creativity, and organizational abilities have been of great help in improving students' proficiency.
Although my experience teaching Spanish is more limited, I have a deep knowledge of this language through my translation studies and as my mother tongue. My background in translation has equipped me with insights into both languages and the most effective methods for mastering them.
I aim to plan the class as interactively as possible, using updated and interesting information from videos, movies, music, and news according to the client's likes and goals.
I love teaching languages because I can identify with the students. I know how rewarding and stressful learning a foreign language can be, and I'm happy to help them on their Spanish learning journey.
