I am a fun, energetic, patient Teacher with experience in teaching children and Adults in different academic areas. I am originally from England therefore I have an excellent command of the English language both written and spoken. I have travelled around Europe and lived in both Australia and South Africa. I consider myself to be a well-rounded person who can understand and relate to a broad spectrum of cultures, people and learning platforms. I adapt well to new challenges and make sure my students achieve their goals.
I have completed my HIGCSE in England and went to college to study accounting. I am a qualified horse-riding instructor and estate agent. I am now enrolling to study a bachelor’s in social sciences, so I am able to work towards my dream of opening up a Therapy centre using Horses.
I currently tutor a 9-year-old who receives a 90% average alongside my Job as an estate agent. I have worked in London as an EA to the CTO and MD for the Ambassador theatre group - which is one of the largest theatre companies in the world. I have worked at an accounting firm in SA and Au-paired for a family in England with two children that required full homework and tutoring support. I managed an Equestrian yard in South Africa where I taught Adults and Children form different countries how to ride horses alongside competing my horses in South Africa where I made the SA Showing team.
I would take my students age and personality type into consideration to establish my approach to learning, as all students and persons learn differently. I believe a reward system is important as a sense of achievement is extremely motivating. We would establish what goals my student wants to achieve and how much time we have to achieve this. We would then put together a program and make sure we do weekly assessments to track our progress.
