English and French Language Tutor Christopher from Halifax

I have a certification from the International TEFL Academy for teaching English as a Second language. During my Masters in French Studies I also studied the pedagogical methods for teaching French as a second language too.

I have worked in a classroom setting with children ages 6-16 in Korea. I taught them English.

I believe in small classroom sizes, and I focus more on developing the ability to converse. I believe that reading is the easiest way to learn a language, as it exposes the learner to a wide variety of sentence structures. I feel that this gives the student a great base. During tutoring sessions I work with the students to teach them the nuances of English or French.

I am flexible and can easily adapt to the students schedule.

I would prefer to have the lessons at my client's home or we can find another appropriate location.
