Hello! My name is Sophia. I have tons of experience in tutoring kids in all subjects. Tutoring is something i’m interested in doing as I love kids and teaching in general.
High school graduate currently enrolled in university.
I have worked as a server for 3 years now. On the side I also did tutor for 3 years as well as volunteering as a teacher at my church. I taught ages from 8 to 17 years old. As for volunteering the class was pre kindergarten. I have tons of experience with working with kids in general. I am able to get to know each child personality which helps what type of teaching method works best for them.
With my past students I will start the class off by asking any trouble that they have with any subject in school. Depending on the answer I will either start by helping with the problem or jump right into teaching my lesson I had planned out for that class. Throughout I often ask if everything makes sense. I like to have the student solve the question I just taught first to make sure they have an understanding of what I was teaching. If not I will go over the question with them while briefly explaining once more the lesson I had just explained. By the end of class I review everything quickly once more to make sure they can remember by the next class.
I am available all week at all times except for Sunday.
I can do any type of online website as well as meet anywhere they’re comfortable meeting.
