I studied in Belgium for 12 years. I know academic and urban French. I can teach the slang as well as the formal language. I have a deep love for linguistics, and as an experienced learner, I know what students go through. I fluently speak French, English, Spanish, and Italian. I also studied French literature and art history.
I have been working as a Tutor in Vancouver for a few moths already. I discovered a passion for teaching and exploring alternative ways of learning.
French is a beautiful language but its grammar has more exceptions than rules. I think the most important thing when learning a new language is to have fun. Let your mind forget the effort it's doing. Depending on your level, we can go through the basic communication, play a game or even just have an interesting conversation. I'm open to any proposition, let's make this course fit for you!
Mondays and Thursdays from 8am to 3pm, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8am to 1pm, Wednesdays from 8am to 2pm. Then every day after 6:30pm. Any time on Weekends. Times might change a litle bit text me to make an appointment.
I can come to your place and your workplace. We can also meet in the public library or a Coffee shop.
Nicholas has been my tutor for a while, he's the best one. He has been able to adapt his teaching to me, making even grammar enjoyable. He always come to the lessons with new ideas. My french improved really fast thanks to him and above all, he made me love french again. I definitely recommend!
