I am a native of the United States with 3-4 years of online tutoring experience. I taught English at the high school level for over 12 years in the United States, and I have also served as an administrator for the public school system.
I completed my TESOL/TESL/TEFL and Business English training in 2015 with Oxford Seminars in Rochester, NY.
I hold a Doctorate in Education, a Masters in Theater Arts, and a BA in Secondary English Education 7-12.
I also hold numerous certificates for course completion in Copywriting, Residential Real Estate, and Curriculum Development.
Tutored online in Business English from 2015 to the present. I have had students in Brazil, Mexico, France, and the US.
I work closely with each student to try to understand what the student wants to achieve. I draw from materials and textbooks that provide a basis for the courses, and I complement these with current resources.
I am retired and living in Costa Rica. My schedule is very flexible and I can teach from 9 AM to 5 PM each day Monday through Friday. I would also be available for evening hours from 7-9 PM.
