I’m an English speaker with a University degree in music and am a professional touring/session musician that’s opened for and played with some of the biggest names in the music business.
I have an HBMus degree where I majored in guitar. I’ve also been a touring performer for over 20 years performing my own compositions and cover songs in multiple countries. I have been the opening act or guitarist for many major artists of all styles such as GNR/Metallica/Lady Gaga/Foo Fighters/Imagine Dragons/Christina Aguilera/Demi Lovato/Katy Perry/Motley Crue/Beyonce and many others and composed music for various commercials and artists and lived and worked in the music industry in Hollywood for over 10 years before splitting my time between the US and Canada.
I have taught for over 20+ years in every style to everyone from children/teens/adults/seniors. My students have won competitions gone on to be professional entertainers and even teach themselves.
I treat every student on an individual basis. If you want to play casually or serious study such as RCM or performing musician/songwriter I can prepare and assist you. I tailor the lessons to your needs and the styles you want to learn and goals you want to achieve. I can teach using method books,RCM books/Tabs/Music Notes/Strum charts etc. I use songs and music groups/simgers/styles you like and are interested in for examples and so you will enjoying playing because they will be songs you’re familiar with and will encourage more practice.
