Throughout helping others, I have also mentored and helped them to be more assertive and confident. Well prepared and ensure students have the materials and understanding of the lessons. Speaking and Listening lessons are conducted through Skype. Usually the camera is disabled due to students feeling more comfortable. This is also an effective method for CELPIP speaking lessons as this is a computerized test with no rater involved. Explanation and lessons will be well informed ahead of time. Correspondence is sent via email. All writing/english assignments are sent through email and sent back the same way. Assignments will be corrected with detailed comments and editing in a timely manner.
I am flexible and it depends on individual situations and agreeable time frame!
Prior to covid, I met students in person and lessons were conducted in private meeting rooms, however since learning to teach online, I have found this is just as effective and also very convenient due to no travel time and possibly busy schedules!
