Hello, :) My name is Jasmine Fernandes, I am of Indian origin, but was brought up in Kuwait and now reside in Istanbul, Turkey. I presently am a freelance online tutor for two ESL companies and have a little over a years experience in the ESL field. My methods are innovation and fun while making sure to nurture the love for the language.
I have completed my H.S.C and have also completed my TESOL 120 HRS certification passed with distinctions.
25 years experience as an airline Purser and 2 years as a flight Instructor teaching English grammar for beginners. over a years experience of teaching ESL online. currently working as an ESL tutor for online ESL platforms.
My methods are innovative and engaging. I focus on all areas of speech and give great emphasis on dialogue practice. With children especially I focus on expressions and reward techniques. Grammar, vocabulary and diction are my 3 point focus. I am an empathetic and patient person with a lot of experience in people skills. Most importantly I am a stickler for doing things on time or ahead of time whenever possible.
All days of the week, Monday to Saturday, between 14.00 to 21.00 hrs.
