My name is George. I was born in Peru and speak Spanish, English, and French. I am a certified teacher and completed my BEd in modern languages I have been tutoring high school students for several years now in all 3 languages (core/AP/and IB). I have a great passion for languages as I find them fascinating, fun, rewarding, and helps people learn about different cultures and meet new people. As such when I teach Spanish, English or French I really focus on making the student engaged and interested. Depending on the student's level and what he/she wants to learn I go at their pace and support them. I believe that every person has their own way of learning languages, I tailor my teaching based on their way. However I also believe that practicing and incorporating grammar, writing, reading, and speaking is important. Above all, I encourage students to engage with the language and to not be afraid to make mistakes, because that is how they learn. Lastly, I also believe that incorporating the cultural aspect of the language also helps and enriches the student’s language experience making it more fun and enjoyable for the student.
