I am a language teacher currently working with two language schools in Germany under freelance terms. My students come from all walks of all life which gives me the chance to teach everything from everyday English to Business English & English for specialized fields such as Marketing, IT, Sales & Pharmaceutics, among others.
My career started in October, 2017 I took a personal decision to move to Turkey, where I began working in the “London Club Café” which functions as a sort of language school/private café hybrid where students not only participate in one-on-one language training classes or classes of up to four people per group, but also practice their target language (or languages) in a more informal manner inside the coffee shop.
At London Club, I learned how to arrange, manage & deliver one-on-one & small group lessons & also improved my abilities related to constructive communication methods & how to deliver “casual” style activities in a professional manner as part of the language training activities which took place inside the Café part of the Language School.
After ending my contract with London Club, personal circumstances led me towards settling in East Germany where I began working with two language schools (one online and one offline) which are also the language schools I am currently working with.
Inside these two schools is where I began delivering more specialist centered lessons (such as previously mentioned, English for Marketing, IT, Pharmaceuticals & others) which expanded my abilities towards language training for specific, specialist centered goals, such as teaching a marketing professional how to properly communicate with foreign colleagues in order to ensure the achievement of professional goals.
Inside the classroom, I prefer to use a communicate approach to teaching, one that strives to emulate real life situations a 2nd language speaker would be confronted with: anything from normal conversations with a friend or acquaintance to dealing with clerks inside the bank, or communicating with a doctor inside a doctor's office.
I am available throughout the week and also on weekends.
