English Language Tutor Carol

My career objective throughout my years of teaching has been to inspire, energize, and build high levels of confidence and expertise in the subjects I am teaching to my student. My educational background includes a BA in English, an MEd in Adult Education, Oxford ESL Certificate, and a Certificate in Corporate Leadership Development. I have had experience in teaching High School English in Bangkok, Hong Kong and the US.  My Corporate Organizational Development teaching and consulting has included a variety of industries.  I am comfortable teaching students of all ages, genders, racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Two years recent experience teaching English at pre school level, young adult and senior corporate executives in Santiago Chile both in person and online

A successful teacher develops genuine relationships with students, has training and certification in Second Language Teaching Techniques, understands student’s cultural background, willingly interacts in the local community and encourages English Conversation outside of the classroom.  My personal approach to teaching is to come prepared with imaginative and creative teaching materials, a fully developed teaching plan and timeline to meet student, school and community needs and requirements. I bring a high level of positive energy and the ability to engage and interact successfully with students one on one and in groups. My education and my many years of experience have developed in me a passion for teaching. This passion enables me to give my students the skills and the confidence to master not only the skills I am teaching, but to develop self-mastery and life mastery. This I believe has enabled me to become a very effective teacher.
