My name is Cassidy and I am a native English and French speaker. I tutor and teach both French and English. I am flexible and understand how learning works, especially in terms of languages. I listen to the needs of the student and welcome any questions :) I have graduated with a minor in French Language and Literature and have a Translation Certificate.
I have a degree in Political Science and French Language and . I am an experienced tutor, having taught French and tutoring in English. I am a native-English speaker and have been speaking French for 16+ years.
I have forever worked in multicultural environments where I have been taught languages in exchange for me teaching English to others. I have experience teaching other subjects such as math and social studies so I understand how different students need different approaches when it comes to learning.
I believe in first assessing how a student learns best (visual, oral, etc.) and from using games to flashcards. For youths, there is a wider range of choice as the older you get, the more you understand how you learn. If the first method does not work for you to your fullest potential, then we would try something else. I am all about teaching in a non-judgemental and flexible environment.
As a general availability, I am available from 4:30PM-10PM Mountain Time all week days with open availability on the weekends.
