Native English speaker with over ten years experience as an English tutor in cross-cultural settings. Learners include professionals in areas of business, government and varities of level of students. I'm fluent in Portuguese and Spanish with extensive living experience abroad. I have taught English in Japan, spent over a decade in Latin America, and have over five years of experience teaching junior and high school global learners in online settings and at private language schools.
My education has taught me to be well informed of global issues and apply new and insightful topics to learners who are interested in international ways of thinking about cultural awareness and events of the day.
I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree from Canadian universities. I also have ESL training and offer IELTS, SAT and TOEFL classes with extensive experience in curriculum development.

Further background includes living and teaching English in Japan for one year at a top language school. I lived for over five years in Brazil where I taught ESL for Business professionals and private students. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Lessons usually include task-based teaching strategies and focus on the use of authentic language with target vocabulary and expressions. We focus on English grammar for all levels, offer conversation classes based on requirements or a combination of both.
