Mandarin Chinese Native Speaker with a Master's degree and 5 years of tutoring experience.
I am a professional Chinese as a second language teacher and possess International Professional Certification and trained from Jingshuhuanyu Chinese Teachers Training Centre. I am also a Master of Internation Business and graduated from Euromed Marseille Ecole de Management in France.
I studied in France and obtained a master's degree, have worked and lived in France, Canada and China; I love Chinese, worked as a Chinese newspaper editor and worked as a reporter for Canadian Chinese websites, and interviewed many celebrities in Chinese associations and leaders of overseas Chinese; I love teaching and have rich teaching experiences.
My role in teaching is more like a tutor. I will guide you to speak more and practice more. I will consolidate the knowledge you have learned by different kinds of fun and interesting practice and tasks in and after class. So, whether you are an entry-level or advanced level will all benefit greatly from my class. I believe you follow me to learn, you will not only grasp listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Chinese Mandarin, and also will learn the history, politics, and customs of China and the Chinese way of thinking.

Everyone must be punctual in class. Sometimes students need to prepare the learning tasks I set in advance. Focus in class. Welcome to ask questions at any time during class. I will create all kinds of opportunities for students to talk more and practice more. Any questions after class are recorded at any time so that you can ask me questions in class. I also provide free learning materials for kids and youth learners. If you need to cancel the course, please notify me at least 12 hours prior to the starting time.
I am quite flexible and can easily adapt to the student's schedules.
I will teach online via Skype or Microsoft Teams.
I have been learning from her for about 6 months and her approach to teaching is something I've never experienced when it comes to language learning. She is really encouraging and supportive, flexible with her schedule, she provides flashcards and exercises to drill through the language, sprinkles Chinese culture and trivia throughout lessons & the way she teaches fills me with joy and awe when I discover the connection and logic between the words in English and Chinese. I can notice myself being better at Chinese than when I started, and using the lessons I have learned in daily conversations. I highly recommend taking lessons with her.
I worked with Annie for 6 months, twice a week, and learned so much. Annie is very organized, provides well-structured lessons and adapts to the learner's skill level. It was a really great experience and use of time. Her feedback and tips on pronunciation, finding the natural rhythm of speech and choosing words and sentence structures that are common to native-Chinese speakers were especially helpful. Her prompts also taught me to search for new vocabulary and apply it in conversations.
