Advanced English speaker with Masters degree and four years of teaching experience. I specialize in teaching young children from 3 years old. I teach both English and Afrikaans. I have also got experience in working with Autistic children.
Masters degree in Zulu. Honours in alternative and augmentative communication and Diploma in ballet teaching Diploma in dental assisting.
Held the position of senior part time lecturer at the university of Pretoria teaching Zulu. Taught ballet for 4 years. Taught a six week Zulu course at Pretoria Technikon.
Helped the children from different embassies to improve their English . Worked on their grammar as well as pronunciation.
I use TPR for the very young students who are learning English for the first time. As I work with young students who get bored easily I make use of props, games and songs. I also have a reward system to keep students motivated. I prepare my lessons to suit the students needs and complement her learning style. I monitor my students and give regular feedback to parents. I also set homework. Students who have a question are welcome to e-mail me. I am super patient!
