I have a Ph.D. in philosophy from the Intercultural Open University in Amsterdam. I hold M.A. in philosophy and literature from Warwick University in the UK. I have a B.A. from Trent University in philosophy and literature. The rest of my education has come from the school of hard knocks;
I have taught and tutored most liberal arts courses, SAT, SSAT, EILTS, and TOFL.I tutored my tutoring academy director in her M.A ,course work and dissertation at Queen's University. i also tutored university students in business and marketing, film studies, environmental science, philosophy, East Asian Studies, East Asian literature and Chinese archeology.
I use a variety of approaches for both online and in-person tutoring. I explain orally. I check and correct their work. I put noted on the whiteboard. I assign homework and check it next period.
My schedule is flexible but will have to be adjusted to avoid time conflicts with other academies.
I use Zoom for online classes. I prefer tutoring in an academy classrom, but if I must meet the student privately, i prefer to meet them at a library.
