Korean Native with 4 years of a degree from the University of British Columbia, majored in Business. Also, hold a Translation and Interpretation for Business (Korean-English) certificate from U.B.C. Continuing Studies. Studied the "How to Teach Korean" course from Seoul National University (S.N.U.) through an exchange program at U.B.C. I am fluent in English and Korean and familiar with both cultures. I have 4 years of experience working at a medium-sized local company in B.C., where both Korean and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) were required and used daily. I have various volunteer experience as a Korean-English (and vice versa) interpreter, including the event held by K.O.T.R.A., V.I.F.F., and S.U.C.C.E.S. I have experience teaching children at a local Korean language school and have also had experience with 1:1 tutoring for adults for numerous years. I love helping and interacting with people and seeing them grow. What is the reason for learning Korean? What is your level? What is your study goal? Let me help you reach your study goal. I have various resources to customize my teaching style based on the student's learning style, including handouts, pictures, videos, songs, quizzes and homework.
