I've been teaching more than 10 years. I've taught Japanese from beginner to business level, for a short to long term. I also have experience of teaching to a corporate group.
For beginner, I use textbooks unless there's specific request from students. I ask students reasons and goals for studying Japanese, and I propose my plan, including materials. I usually use English (or French if not) for beginner or explaining complicated grammar. For advanced, I usually teach in Japaneses.
