Professional Experience
I have considerable experience in English teaching. I have worked as a Portuguese (as a foreign language), English and Dutch Teacher for more than 30 years I am a dynamic teacher who has an academic background or extensive experience in languages, but also cheerfulness and love for the profession. The following are highlights of my skills and accomplishments: - I worked at Bem-Vindo Taleninstituut as an English and Portuguese teacher (Netherlands) - I also worked at the Volksuniversiteit “De Kring” in Spijkenisse as a Portuguese teacher (Netherlands) As well at “Avenida Brasil” Taleninstituut as Portuguese and English teacher (Netherlands) I speak five foreign languages well. The first, of course English. I speak it fluently, having lived in the United States of America for 1 1/2 years. I also speak Serb-croats, Dutch and Italian. Portuguese is my mother tongue. Languages are my passion, indeed. There are a number of reasons for my applying for this post. First, having worked as a teacher for several years, I now feel ready to take on the challenge and responsibility of applying for being one of your teachers. My strong initiative and exceptional organizational skills, combined with my ability to work well under pressure, allow me to play a crucial role in fast-paced teaching environment. Furthermore, I am really capable of being a great teacher. I would very much like to work as a teacher in Portuguese, English and Dutch at your school. With my ambitious and motivated attitude, I know for sure that I can make a positive contribution to your organization.
