Teaching Approach
In English, we have four different skills. Each skill follows a specific method to be taught. In my teaching, I make the lesson plan for each skill and I make the teaching-learning process fruitful using engaging activities and workshops. For teaching Grammar and vocabulary, I use the ECRIF method. For teaching listening, I follow these steps: 1) Introduce the topic of the recording and arouse students' interest in it. I achieve this in a variety of ways for example by showing a picture linked to the topic and discuss the picture, or choose some words or phrases from the recording and ask students to predict what it is about... 2) Pre-teach any difficult words. 3) Set a task to be completed during the first listening. 4) Give students a task to complete while they are listening again. 5) Do some oral work or language work related to the recording. ... For teaching reading, I use skimming and scanning strategies. For teaching Writing, I use the methods for teaching product or process type of writing.
