Spanish Language Tutor Leonardo from Vancouver

Leonardo has been providing me weekly Spanish lessons for the last 6-7 months. I knew absolutely nothing when we started, but he is helping me work through the A1-A2 textbook which I am very happy about. I wanted to learn Spanish properly, learn how to conjugate, and learn the theory behind how to accurately structure a sentence. He has been encouraging, patient, and has pushed me to start speaking and get out of my comfort zone. I have learned so much, and I can't wait to keep learning more! Leonardo is a fantastic native Spanish speaker to help any student at any level improve their language skills :)

We hired Leonardo to work with our 15 year old son to improve his Spanish skills as well as confidence with the language - he was in a Spanish program at school and really behind. In one on one sessions with Leonardo, my son spoke more Spanish than I'm sure he had in 9 years in a Spanish bilingual school. He keeps the sessions very conversational, with lots of repetition and practice of skills, as well assigns reasonable amounts of daily homework. My son gained a much greater understanding of the language and grammar, even saying several times "I never knew Spanish was so easy!". We did 1.5-2 hrs per session, and my son enjoyed them - there was always lots of humor & positive reinforcement, which made it easy for him to try even when he felt unsure if he had the correct answer. All in all it was a really positive experience, and we will probably hire Leonardo again to work with our younger son.

Leonardo is a great tutor. He is familiar with a number of different Spanish course programs, and was able to continue my Spanish learning journey using the same program that I was working with in Spain. He is very good at explaining concepts, and provides resources to aid my progress. I feel that I have progressed very well with his assistance, and I look forward to continuing to work with him.

Leonardo knows his Spanish. He is an amazing teacher. I am a very hard student to teach because I am a very slow learner and am not a great studier. he has alot of patience with me. I hope that he will teach me for a long time

Spent about 3 months with Leonardo, ussualy twice a week, so lot of spanish. We have been beginers when we start and I am confident to say that under Leonardo’s tutoring we have made big step forward. Overall great lessons filled with lots of vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening. Leonardo was always prepared for a lesson and helped us with anything requested. He was also very flexible so we have always found time and place which suits us. I would recommed him 110% because result have been seen very quickly. Leonardo is also really good guy, and make our stay in Calgary really enjoyable.

Leonardo is an excellent teacher. He is able to explain the most complicated grammar the easiest way. I like the book he is using (it has very good, very clear demonstrations......) I like his teaching method which is based on dialogues, communications, reading and understanding...He adjusts the student learning "tempo" right away. The best thing is he is not overly "technologized", you don't need to depend on artificial computer generated home works.. etc when you study from Leonardo...instead: paper, pencil and real talk, funny explanations always. The lessons are very interesting, the home works are a lot...so it is great. Muchas- muchas gracias, senor Leonardo.

Hola. Leonardo is an amazing tutor. I started not knowing anything. He is very patient and has a great sense of humor. Which with me is a good thing. He definitely knows how to teach and is really good at explaining over and over and in different ways until you get the concept. Thank you Leonardo
