Born in Bosnia, grew up bilingual (Serbian and English) with years of experience in tutoring people of all age groups.
University student, majoring in English language and literature, with work experience in various fields - communications, logistics, hospitality and tourism, etc.
I have been tutoring people of all age groups ever since I was in high school - meaning, I've got experience in tutoring English on mostly all levels (kindergarten to elementary- and high school and above). My teaching experience has so far included both in-person classes (one-on-one or in groups) and online classes, as I enjoy working as a home-based teacher.
Depending on the students' personalities and my evaluation of their learning methods, I tend to adapt quickly and apply various methods of teaching - be it free-conversational, scholarly and detail-oriented, or classroom-like (standard) way of teaching. I am certainly open to developing my skills even further, as transferring knowledge onto others is one of my greatest passions in life. Professional relationships require a lot of motivation and understanding and I continuosly make sure to respect my students' wishes, requests and abilities. Teaching is, generally speaking, a big passion of mine.
I am normally available on most days of the week, especially from 8am to 6pm, but being used to working as a home-based teacher, I'd have no problem adapting to my potential students' requests in order to create a working environment that suits the needs of both sides. Below, I have selected an example template of my available working hours, but those are definitely subject to change in case this position requires me to modify the schedule.
I would prefer working online (i.e. via Skype), but in-person meetings in my area would also be acceptable.
