I studied German Language and Literature as well as History and Philosophy at the University of Bern and at the Freie Universität Berlin. Before I came to Australia, I used to work as a journalist for a radio station called Kanal K in Aarau, Switzerland.

2 years ago, I worked as a volunteer in Cambodia, teaching English to children in their free time. During high school and university, I worked part-time as a nanny of 2 beautiful kids.

The key to learning a language and losing the fear of making mistakes is practicing conversation. At least a quarter of every lesson I use to discuss cultural differences, hobbies and so on. I myself have studied 6 languages till now (French, English, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Bahasa Indonesia) and know about the struggles with irregular verbs and different gender systems. Mnemonic tricks can help to remember those little obstacles every language has. If I am studying a language, it is highly important to me to have clear notes and good charts and tables in order to facilitate the learning process. Therefor I pay extra attention that my students get well-arranged papers.
