I am a Hong Konger currently studying political science at Sciences Po Paris in France. I am fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and French. In my high school, I spent 3 years studying Chinese literature as my elective subject. I am hence able to contextualise the use of Chinese language in its historical evolution.
With a multilingual background, I understand the complexities of language learning as well as the comparative difficulty of Chinese language itself. I have the experience of guiding student with dyslexia in making the connection between words and image; I have the experience of teaching languages in a group setting
I begin with words for daily conversation and the grammatical logic behind it. Chinese Characters will be introduced in the later stage of teaching. The structure of Chinese characters will be the first step of understanding the language.
