Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature and Linguistics at The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2008). Master's degree in Spanish Literature at the University of Colorado at Boulder (2011). Completed all coursework and passed Comprehensive Exams from the Spanish PhD program at the University of Colorado at Boulder. (2014)

I worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder from Fall 2009 to Spring 2014. I taught all levels of Spanish (from beginner to Advanced).

While I prefer the communicative approach (with lots of interaction in target language), I also value other forms of teaching methods (such as allowing students to write, read and complete grammar exercises). I also believe that students benefit from being exposed to different aspects of Hispanic culture (music, film, visual art, folklore, gastronomy, etc.) and I make sure to always include that in my lesson planning.

I am flexible and can easily adapt to student's schedule. However, anytime between 11am and 4pm would be ideal. I'm available weekends as well.
