English speaking guitar teacher who is especially suited to young and old adults who have some previous experience with the instrument. I'm well versed in playing standards, rhythm & blues, country, blues and pop songs. Also have a better than average understanding of music theory.

It's my experience, regardless of the student's experience and goals, that learning songs is only half the equation. If that is coupled with even a basic understanding of harmony, different rhythms and scales, and how to apply them to chord progressions, the student not only builds proficiency but an understanding of music that allows them to eventually easily understand and decode popular styles of music.

I'm very flexible with my time. I prefer teaching during the day and into the early evening as I still perform in the evenings.
Right now I don't teach face to face. However, I will do online lessons via Facetime or Skype.
