Greek and English native speaker. Currently in the last year of my undergraduate degree in political and social sciences. I live and study in Paris, France but I am an exchange student here at UBC. Prioritising oral apprehension and amelioration is my goal with students.
I did the International Baccalaureate in Athens, Greece where I graduated with a 44 out of 45 grade. Then I studied for a year at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and transferred to Sciences Po in Paris, France where I lived for the last two years. I am currently at UBC as an exchange student majoring in political science and international relations.
I have volunteered as an English teacher in Tanzania and have taught refugee kids in the centre of Athens. I speak four languages: Greek, English, French, and Russian and am learning Spanish.
My priority is for the young learners to feel more comfortable when it comes to everyday words and phrases. For them to be able to chat with native people at ease. Then we proceed to the written, oral and reading comprehension.
I am flexible and I can easily adapt to the students' schedule
Online or in-person with a preference for online via Zoom or WhatsApp to facilitate the smoothness of the class and avoid any delays that might be caused by commuting.
