The challenge I gave to Violante was to help me improve my level of comprehension. My difficulty was not so much in speaking but in understanding what italian speakers were saying. When people spoke to me, I froze. She understood my problem. As a trained teacher, she put in place a process to help me progress. She is naturally welcoming and encouraging and dedicated to help me improve. I can’t ask for more than that.

Violante is a wonderful Italian teacher who deeply cares about each of her students and their individual study needs. She is very versatile in her abilities and teaching styles, structuring each lesson around the student and what they require to achieve success. I have been working on my conversational Italian as well as some grammar, in preparation for an upcoming trip to Italy.
