I have an experience of teaching students for for than a decade as an early years teacher, secondary years and IGCSE expert .I love to teach, but I also love to learn—and teaching offers lots of opportunities for learning. Whether it’s researching a topic related to student interests or questions or exploring new ideas for how to teach something, I get to explore new ideas a lot. Add a wide mix of cultures and backgrounds in the classroom and the different experience children bring to the classroom and I learn something new daily.
I have Completed my Masters in English Literature and MPHIL in TESOL, currently I am completing a course of TEFL from the university of Toronto. My Thesis was also related to reading and pronunciation and how to overcome the fossilization errors. I use to add in activities that reinforce learning and comprehension by using more senses as students read. I remind students to read with a pen or pencil to annotate the text. I encourage students take turns reading out loud and establish a regular reading routine.
I have an experience of teaching early years, then gradually I taught English language and literature to secondary years an as IGCSE teacher. I know how fun and how difficult learning new languages can be. I love teaching, it's my passion. I guarantee you that you'll have a lot of fun, and achieve your goals.
usually I follow the strategies that are according to the learning preferences of the students like Reciprocal questioning: Have students come up with questions for the class on a recent lesson or concept. The pause procedure: Take a break every 10 to 15 minutes so that students have time to discuss, ask questions or solve problems. Muddiest point: Ask students to write down which point in the lesson is the least clear to them.
