Piano teacher with 15 years of experience
Ph.D in music performance and teaching all ages and levels.
With fifteen years of experience in piano teaching through conservatory classes, master classes, university and related workshops, Hourshid has attained the musical teaching skills and knowledge needed to help her students progress and learn with as much ease and enjoyment as possible. She creates a comfortable yet challenging environment for her students and teaches both the technical aspect of the instrument and the culture and history of the music in an interactive way. Aside from teaching, she is currently continuing her solo and chamber musical career.
I do very much listen to the intentions of students and their purpose of learning music and playing piano. I use diffent methods in order to help them keep the track of of what they have learned and at the same time work repertory pieces, technical aspects of piano playing and basics of improvisation.
