English native speaker born and raised in the UK, having lived in Italy and Egypt i am fluent in Italian and Arabic. I have taught in various fields for over 20 years. In 2013 I started to teach English while living in Italy, for a private school in Tuscany, on a part time basis. This became full time after a couple of months. I completed 3 school years there. In addition during this period I tutored master students at the University of Sienna for level B2 Cambridge. In addition having private clients for tutoring in my home. I then went on to complete my TEFL certification with Regency English in 2017. Since 2017 i have tutored clients online. Now have accrued over 7 years experience as an English teacher.
i have used various methods and it depends on the level and student needs. Frequently using the communicative language teaching method as it is popular and many students seem to desire this approach. Also using the direct or natural method, especially with students who have a language i don't know.
