For younger kids I use art as a tool. For example, draw your superhero and point out the english words for the adjectives that you've used. For older ones, I like to talk about what interest them, for example: let's talk about that game your playing. Tell me about how it works and the goal of the game. If there is words that we cant point out we will write them down and go through them at the end of the class.
