Hi there, I'm a violinist/violist with 19 years of playing experience and almost a decade of teaching experience in classical and world music. My musical focuses are Baroque, Contemporary, and Klezmer.
I've studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music, and recently completed a BFA.
I'm largely a performing artist these days, having traveled throughout Canada, North America, and Europe to perform. I've taught for almost the last decade, so I have a good deal of expereince to draw upon to cater to your specific needs.
I tailor my lessons to the unique needs of the student. When we start learning together, we will discuss your goals and come up with a learning plan that suits your needs. I often draw upon RCM Exams, the Suzuki method, and a variety of folk music texts. If there is music you want to learn, we will tackle it with vigor.
I am available afternoons and evenings
I'm currently teaching online exclusively due to Covid, but once it is safe, I will resume in-home lessons.
