I am a passionate teacher with 2 years of teaching in home schools and 50 days interning at my local public schools.
I have 1 year left to complete my bachelors in education, I am also Tefl certified
I first got a job in a home-school and taught grade 1,2 and 3 and learners all their subjects. I then moved on to another home school because i needed to teach learners in the age group that i am majoring in which are grade 4 to 9 learners. I am currently working for a home-school and I teach English to grade 7,8 and 9 learners.
I usually see what content needs to be covered in the term, so I create a content page for the learners with dates on each lesson so I know by a certain date we must complete all the terms work. This was very helpful during the lock-down as the learners knew what activities needed to be done and when they needed to be completed. I then see what assessments need to be done and in the first week of the term i give them the assessments and due dates so they have sufficient time to complete it. I mark their work regularly to check their progress and we revise the terms work just before the exam.
i am very flexible and can easily adapt to the students schedule as I only work 1 hour everyday and the rest of the time i am free.
I can only accept sessions online at any convenient time that suited to the student's schedule.
