1 year university in Waterloo, Ontario and then 3 years university in Montreal, Quebec. Graduated with a BA in Communication Arts from the Université de Montréal.
Extensive work in journalism and radio in Canada and then 28 years as an English teacher in Switzerland at the inlingua School of Languages. Head of the English Department for many years and then Director of Studies for the entire franchise. Also helped develop books and teaching materials for inlingua International.
Can adapt the teaching method to the needs of the language learner(s). Generally prefer the Direct Method. Very much enjoy providing exercises and texts to develop necessary skills and promote speaking skills.
I would Monday - Wednesday mornings from 9 to noon.Other times could be managed depending on the client's needs.
Willing to teach at home (I live in a forest near the Aurora Road and Warden Avenue in Whitchurch-Stouffville. Can travel to client's home if necessary and not far away. Skype is also an option.
