I'm a native English-speaking Canadian who taught English in Ningbo for 10 years. I taught for the two top English training Centres in Ningbo as well as having a number of private students. I prefer to teach one-on-one. I can come to your home or you can come to mine. We could also meet in a public place though I find that less effective.
I have a basic Bachelor's degree plus two separate TESOL accreditations
As noted, I taught English in Ningbo for ten years. I taught group lessons at first and moved on to one-on-one VIP lessons as my experience and expertise grew.
Before going to China I also taught Marketing and Promotion at Toronto's Ryerson University. I also owned my own Communications Agency
I am also a public speaker in Communications and Branding and have given presentations in Canada and in China.
I base my approach on the level of English you've achieved and the purpose for which you want to be tutored. Research in language acquisition stresses that to acquire any language one must speak it as often as possible. My focus is therefore on speaking English.
I am available most days from 2pm to 9pm, except Thursday until November 25.
I can meet you almost anywhere in the city though I would prefer city central or Montreal West.. My home is located in Westmount
